Emergency Hormonal Contraception 

Emergency Hormonal Contraception (often called the morning after pill) is a tablet that can be taken after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. The morning after pill is available without a prescription following a consultation with a Pharmacist.

There is no charge for this service if you are between the ages of 17 and 35 or you have a Medical Card. if you do not have a Medical Card and are over 35 years old the cost is €30.
