HRT products will now be free of charge when prescribed by your GP from 1st June 2025.
This applies to women at the various stages related to menopause and includes perimenopause, post menopause, early menopause, premature menopause and medically induced menopause.
If you have a medical card or a drugs payment card you can access free HRT products under these schemes.
If you do not have a medical card or a drugs payment card you can apply for a drugs payment card online via https://www.mydps.ie
