What is our injection service?

Our Pharmacists can now administer a variety of prescription medications including Vitamin B12 and Prolia injections in the Pharmacy at a time of our choosing.

All injections are administered by trained Pharmacists in our consultation rooms.

How does the service work?

In order to avail of the service patients need to:

• Be over 18 years of age
• Have a valid prescription for the medication being administered

Not all medication is suitable for administration as part of this service. Please contact us to discuss suitability with you.

There is a €10 administration charge for the service.

It is important that you continue to visit your doctor for any monitoring or scheduled reviews of your medication. Please contact your local Higgins Pharmacy in advance to check availability.
